Anton X has a glint in his eye. A sparkle. And if you look more closely, you can even see a star. A bright star with electronic vibrations. A rising star that shines when he mixes. In 1993, when only 14 and attending his first ever rave party in the French city of Lyons , this young man was bowled over by the electronic musical wave that has changed his life. He quickly began to scour parties, clinching his first residency at the tender age of 16.
Loathe to compromise and keen to retain his freedom, in 1999 Anton X decided to create Millennium Sound with a group of friends. It was a way of being able to work with no constraints .In the same year, he won the Gladiator Contest organised by Independance Records. And in 2002, the jury of the DMC/Pioneer Electronic Artist of the Year Contest selected him as one of the top 25 Electro Artists.
2004 saw the release of his first opus , Travel EP, with UMF records. He also entered the UK 's Massive Buzz UK Chart, and was extensively play-listed, particularly by Laurent Garnier, BBC Radio 1… and many more. The track Cancún was also licensed by the well-known London label, the Ministry of Sound. In 2006, the release of Lowis EP on the best-selling Recycled Loops label confirmed his potential. According to Valentino Kanzyani or Carl Cox, his maxi, complete with Electro strains of the 80s, is “an instant hit made for the dance floors”. In November 2007, Anton X is offering us new electronic flavours in its last EP, Slow Food (UMF)... to devour without moderation!
Anton X plays with all the nuances of the musical spectrum spanned by his technophile galaxy. Minimal, Detroit , Electro, Techno… can all describe his sets . He likes to break free from the constrains of style barrier, preferring to trust his instinct rather than simply follow fashion. His sounds are eclectic and powerful, freeing minds as he generously mixes . His language is a universal language everyone can understand : the language of the senses. Anton X is no fleeting shooting star, he is a smiling ray of sun, capable of lighting up everyone he touches :

Les médias spécialisés ne s'y trompent pas et voient en Anton X l'une des nouvelles révélations lyonnaises. Madagascar, Montréal, Prague, Kuala Lumpur, Paris, Genève, Bruxelles. Anton X n'est plus un secret pour les clubbers et festivaliers d'ici ou d'ailleurs. Il parle une langue universelle que chacun peut comprendre, quelle que soit sa culture, celle des sens.
Dès 1993, Anton X est touché de plein fouet par la vague musicale electronique qui va le submerger et changer sa vie.
Ne souhaitant pas faire de compromis dans ses choix et aspirant à plus de liberté, Anton X participe en 1999 à la création du collectif Millennium Sound qui lui permet d'exercer son art sans contrainte. La même année il remporte le Gladiator Electronic Contest organisé par Independance Records. Puis en 2002, le jury de l'Electronic Contest of the Year DMC/Pioneer le désigne comme l'un des 25 meilleurs artistes electro.
L'année 2004 marque l'arrivée de son 1 er opus. Travel EP sur UMF records (Agoria, The Hacker, Oxia...). Il entre dans le Massive Buzz UK Chart au Royaume-Uni, et est largement play-listé notamment par Laurent Garnier, BBC radio 1, Pete Tong... Le track Cancún issu du maxi a d'ailleurs été pris sous licence par le label londonien Ministry of Sound. La sortie en 2006 de Lowis EP sur le label Recycled Loops, confirme son potentiel. Il est, selon Carl Cox ou encore Umek, « an instant hit made for the dance floors » (un morceau sur mesure pour les dancefloors).
En 2008, comme une suite logique, Anton X, associé à Laurent Perrache, crée son propre label (Booster) et s'offre une liberté de création totale pour les années à venir. La sortie de son album / concept Intergravissimas (2009) et de son projet de carte postale sonore Boarding Pass (2008 / 2010) en sont les pierres angulaires.
Minimale, Détroit, Techno, Progressive… sont autant de qualificatifs qui collent à ses sets. Dans ses choix, Anton X préfère faire confiance à son instinct plutôt qu'à la tendance.
